Your tasks – this is what awaits you in detail

• As a Platform Engineer in one of our Platform teams, your goal is to deliver the best possible developer experience and guarantee a reliable, scalable and cost-efficient environment.
• Your team builds and operates networking and routing components, including tooling, guidelines and self-service solutions for product development teams.
• You are able to help teams if they have usage questions.
• You feel comfortable operating infrastructure during office hours and participate in emergency on-call (which is paid extra).

Your profile – this is what we expect from you

• You have extensive experience as a Platform/DevOps engineer with focus on Kubernetes networking, Service Mesh (preferably Istio), Load balancing, WAF, CDN and Caching solutions.
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, etc.
• Experience with Cloud Networks and related security and compliance practices.
• You have experience in automating using Terraform, GitOps operator knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Nice to have: experience in any of the high level programming languages (Golang, Python or similar). 
• You have excellent communication skills, are willing to embrace our company culture and values and enjoy working in an international, english-speaking team.
