About the Role

Global Operational Services (GOPS) is a global unit with 2200 employees, located in over 45 countries worldwide, that delivers sustainable business value to Essity and our customers, by driving group wide operational efficiencies through Global Business Services (GBS), Essity IT and Global Procurement.

Essity IT supports all Business & Global Units and is aligned to Essity’s strategic business priorities.

What You Will Do

Your main accountabilities and responsibilities will be:

• Provide day-to-day support for existing ABAP environment, Fiori applications and outputs without supervision in existing R/3 and S/4 systems
• Participate in international projects
• Manage and steer external developer team
• Support the teams ITIL activities, including Incident, Service Request and demand fulfilment
• Collaborate with business, development teams, partners, business analysts and architects to understand the implications of new development requests and maximize harmonization across the organization.
• Support business and IT capabilities for managing and integrating different technical solutions in a heterogeneous landscape.

What You Need

• You have university degree in computer science, management information systems, or related discipline
• Ideally 3-5 years professional experience
• Strong knowledge of ABAP development, preferable deep ABAP OO knowledge
• Knowledge of Fiori development and webservices via SAP Netweaver Gateway
• Experience of Output management via ADOBE Forms (also interactive) and SAPScript
• Management experience in leading a team of external developers
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership skills
• Holistic thinking and proactive working style
