Job Description

CellCube is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer (full-time 38.5 hrs/week). As an experienced Electrical Engineer with extensive know-how are you highly motivated to use your skills and expertise in an innovative and dynamic environment? (Location: Wiener Neudorf AUSTRIA)

Your tasks:

  • Development of electrotechnical concepts and switchgear for vanadium redox flow energy storage systems
  • Detailed design of electrotechnical components in the low-voltage range <1000VAC/1500VDC (current carrying capacity, short-circuit resistance, etc.)
  • Independent planning and documentation of control cabinets and electrical assemblies (creation of circuit diagrams, assembly plans and parts lists)
  • Support with the commissioning of systems at low and medium voltage level and medium-voltage level + system tests
  • Support with certifications, documentation and training
  • Technical support for sales, product management, manufacturing and life-cycle management
  • Responsible for the high-voltage test station

Your profile:

  • Completed technical education (university, university of applied sciences
    or HTL) in the fields of mechatronics or electrical engineering/control engineering
    control engineering
  • 5 years + experience in electrical planning/electrical design
  • Experience with CAE software desirable (ideally Engineering Base) + PLC controls
  • Relevant knowledge of standards (EN, IEC, UL)
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills

  • Experience in the renewable energy sector/battery storage sector
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience as a team lead
  • Strong physical and thermodynamic expertise
