As a scrum master, you will be a role model for Agile methodology, demonstrating the Agile values and principles to the citizenM Commercial team. Applying a highly collaborative approach and leadership techniques you will facilitate the Commercial team to high-quality programmes and project delivery for better customer experiences and stronger business value!
We are looking for a motivated and driven individual who will play an essential role in shaping a range of projects across citizenM while supporting the ongoing development and evolution of projects – from conception through to delivery. Ideally you would have extensive experience handling Scrum Master responsibilities, including supporting the Agile Ceremonies (sprint planning, retros, stand ups) and removing impediments etc. to help us create high quality learning that meets the needs of our learners. You will be at the forefront of each project and manage the Commercial team, which includes a mix of Teams such as Ecommerce, CRM, Sales, Digital Marketing etc. to maintain communication and updates using our Project Management tools (Jira, Trello, Holaspirit..).
Design and operate Agile process adapted to citizenM Commercial team. Coordinate and facilitate Scrum ceremonies like stand-up meetings, estimation, big room planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
Collaborate with other Teams (CX, Tech, Ops) over Portfolio Management, Big Room planning and team of teams
Ensure that the team has everything they need to be highly productive by encouraging public commitments and accountability through adherence to commitments made by the empowered team, resolving dependencies and removing impediments.
Ensure visibility to the team on key milestones and priorities coming from the project; deliver transparency on team’s plans to the department and to the stakeholders through effective reporting and escalations in timely manner.
Liaise effectively and manage relationships with Management Team, Product Owners, Tech Leaders, Project Managers, and Stakeholders.
Create and drive process improvements for the team and department to operate effectively and efficiently.
qualifications / skills
Scrum master – certified or have a consulting background in Agile methods with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Scrum master experience in a non-IT environment is essential
Excellent people and time management.
Solid technical background required. Good understanding of continuous delivery, support best practices, process improvement, technical debt, etc.
Proven track record of successfully delivering in a continuous delivery agile environment.
Effective organization that reduces the amount of noise, distractions and interruptions.
Mentor and demonstrate the Agile values and principles in every thought and action
Motivated self-starter, process-oriented with high attention to detail
Target and collaboration driven team leader
