We are looking for a driven Business/Financial Controller to the operations team in our Stockholm office in Södermalm. Here, you’ll have a great influence on your own work with the opportunity to broaden your skill set and impact our business development. About the role
This is the “jack of all trades” role that some dread and some love, where it requires a lot of positive energy, attention to detail, and social skills. The work will mainly be hands-on but some strategic work will be included, so you need to like both helicopter view as well as zooming in on details.

Moverover, you will be working closely with our Operations Manager, our Finance & Office Assistant, and our external accounting firm.

Some of your work will be:

  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting in Fortnox and QuickBooks
  • Create reports monthly basis
  • Maintain, and develop financial policies throughout the company
  • Keep track of accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Approve, and assist with pay slips, receipts, and handle reimbursements, and other HR-related tasks
  • Administrate our HR software system
  • Manage bank accounts, credit and debit cards, and cash balances
  • Annual reports, and collaborate with auditors

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience or more in accounting and financial reporting
  • A social and service-minded attitude
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Able to move from small day-to-day activities to more long-term thinking and financial planning
  • Very good communications skills in English, since our formal company language is English
  • Basic knowledge of the Swedish taxation system
  • Proficient in Google Docs, and Google Sheets, MS Word, and MS Excel

It would be great if you also:

  • have experience with legal contracts
  • have experience working at a startup – and are passionate about building a business from the ground.
  • are entrepreneurial and want to keep learning new skills and helping colleagues in areas outside of your role.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
