We are looking for a talented Software Developer, with an appetite for complexity, who strives in an international environment, working together with the industry’s best and brightest.
In your new job, you will be a crucial anchor point for developing and maintaining our global aftermarket support tool for Demant Diagnostics. We are creating a solution used by our sales companies to calibrate and maintain audiological equipment. You will take part in expanding the solution with more functionality and ensure high uptime globally. The team is located in Middelfart, but you will also work with colleagues in Poland and Kuala Lumpur.
To make the solution efficient, we have integrations to our Salesforce platform used across the group. We foresee next revisions of the product will be developed side-by-side with maintenance of the current solution.
In the role as Software Developer, you will also act as team coordinator for the teams in Denmark, Poland and Kuala Lumpur. Here, you will collect various inputs and convert them into user stories. To understand the business and create good relationships across the departments in Denmark, Poland and Kuala Lumpur, you can expect some travel activity.
Specifically, your tasks will include:
- Break down the product backlog into user stories that are clear, concise and testable
- Writing new code, maintaining old code, and fixing errors
- Software and application development, implementation, and documentation
- Prioritize the user stories based on their value, urgency, and dependencies
- Always improving collaboration and coordinating with the dedicated development teams and stakeholders
Who are you?
To succeed in this role, you probably have a background in Computer Science, IT, Software or similar. Preferably you have 2+ years of experience within this field. It’s important to us that you have good English skills, as we have a lot of international stakeholders. You thrive in a team, and you are good at building relations and communicating across the organization. You are quick to learn, always eager to develop your skills and have a curious mind.
Expected areas of knowledge and expertise to succeed in this role:
- SQL experience
- JSON, XML, XSLT
- Development languages: C#
- Experience with Azure services, Functions, DevOps
