This is what you will do:

› Development of PLC programs for complex industrial plants, primarily based on the Siemens platform (Siemens S7, TIA Portal).
› Implementation of OPC/UA communication interfaces for the seamless integration of machines and systems into the higher-level system landscape.
› Programming of control and regulation systems, as well as the continuous optimization and maintenance of these systems.
› Collaboration with other developers to ensure automated processes in production environments.
› Conducting tests, troubleshooting, and commissioning of PLC systems.
› Documentation of the developed programs and processes, as well as training of operating personnel and technical support.

This is what you bring with you:

› Completed studies in electrical engineering, automation technology, or comparable vocational training with relevant experience.
› Solid knowledge and proven experience in programming PLC systems, preferably on Siemens platforms.
› Expertise in configuring and using OPC UA for data communication between plants and higher-level systems.
› Understanding of industrial network protocols and interfaces (Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.).
› Good knowledge of plant automation, control and regulation technology; on-site commissioning of PLC systems is an advantage.
› Good German and very good English skills.
