We are looking for a Senior Developer with strong technical experience and versatility to join a project in the financial services sector, focusing on backend development and data-driven applications. About the Opportunity:
As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the technical delivery of complex solutions in enterprise environments, with a focus on automation, performance and public cloud integration.
Responsibilities:
- Develop robust and efficient backend applications with Java (Spring Boot, Maven);
- Automate processes and support data processing with scripts in Python, Bash or similar;
- Work with modern data platforms like Palantir Foundry or Databricks;
- Implement solutions in public cloud environments (Azure, AWS or GCP);
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in international contexts and large-scale corporate environments;
- Apply good versioning practices with Git, continuous integration (CI/CD) and automated testing;
- Support agile teams in continuous value delivery.
What We Are Looking For:
- Over 7 years of proven experience in Java development (Spring Boot, Maven);
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation and data processing;
- Experience with modern data platforms (ideally Palantir Foundry or Databricks);
- Knowledge of public cloud with certification (Azure, AWS or GCP) valued;
- Proven ability to work in international teams and regulated environments;
- Fluency in English (mandatory);
- Residence in Portugal (possibility of remote work within the country).
