We are looking to recruit a Senior Data Engineer for the Porto area.

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Engineering team, with a key role in building and evolving our Data Platform , responsible for processing and analyzing millions (and even billions) of data entries in real time to identify threats and compromises of sensitive data (PII).

Your Challenge:

  • Develop data models (conceptual, logical and physical)aligned with business needs;
  • Ensure the quality and fluidity of information between systems;
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers and Data Analysts;
  • Promote a culture of good data governance practices and technological innovation;
  • Explore and implement new tools and frameworks to scale and optimize data architecture;
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and support critical decisions through data.

Your Profile:

  • Higher education (Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science or similar;
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in data architecture and building ETL/ELT pipelines;
  • Mastery of Python, SQL and data governance principles;
  • Experience with technologies such as Airflow, Clickhouse, MongoDB, Kafka and Grafana ;
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and/or application security is valued ;
  • Fluency in English (mandatory);
  • Analytical capacity, orientation towards innovation and a taste for environments of constant technological evolution.
