Job Description

The Exotec by Dexter national team designs, implements, commissions, and subsequently maintains SKYPOD systems for the Iberian market : a storage system based on fleets of robots for unit picking.
The Deployment Engineer is the technical manager responsible for SKYPOD system implementation projects. Reporting directly to the Deploy Manager within the Operations department, they will be responsible for conducting technical studies for assigned projects, alongside the Project Manager, during the design phase. Subsequently, during the implementation/deployment phase, they will be responsible for implementing all the studies and leading the on-site technical team.
The main functions as a Deployment Engineer
- System design tailored to each project based on the client’s needs.
- Carry out technical studies of the system.
- Perform functional simulations.
- Technical support for project management.
- Technical leadership during the implementation phase:
- Support in the installation of Skypod system components.
- Configuration and parameterization of the different components of the Skypod system.
- Lead the implementation phase of the Skypod system, supporting the on-site team.
- Lead internal and client functional tests.
- Customer training.
Profile sought:
- Graduate in mechatronics, mechanical, electronic or similar engineering.
- No experience in a similar position is required.
- Availability to travel throughout the peninsula, especially during the installation and commissioning phase (up to 50% of the time, depending on the project location).
- Advanced English. French is a plus.
- Knowledge of logistics and/or logistics software (WMS) will be valued.
- Dominio Suite MS Office.
- Knowledge of Autocad or Draftsight will be valued.
- Knowledge of SQL and communications networks will be valued.
