Your tasks

  • Conceive and implement automated tests to ensure the quality of our different products and automation pipelines, that include diverse technologies and architectures.
  • Develop and iterate on testing processes and protocols for our products.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure product functionality, performance and safety.
  • Develop a vision and strategy for quality assurance to support the ongoing growth of our company.
  • Work closely with the team and stakeholders to identify, document and track software bugs and defects.
  • Develop test scripts and tools to further automate manual testing procedures.
  • Participate in agile development teams to ensure quality at every stage of the product lifecycle.
  • Mentor and support junior members of the quality assurance team.

Your skills and experience

  • You have a degree in computer science, engineering or a comparable qualification.
  • You have 2+ years of experience in quality assurance and software testing.
  • You have experience in creating and executing automated test cases, ideally also for more complex software solutions that integrate several different technologies.
  • You have experience in developing software for testing purposes either with Python and/or JavaScript, preferably both.
  • You have excellent written and verbal skills in both English and German.
  • You are aware of and adhere to best practices in software development.
  • You have analytical thinking skills and the ability to identify and solve complex problems.
  • You have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • You understand agile development methodologies and processes.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) is a plus.
  • Certifications in software quality assurance are welcome.
