Job Description

Would you be interested in continuing your development as  a PLC Programmer  within a company specializing in  offering customized engineering solutions to leading companies in the aeronautical sector ?

At Oxigent Technologies, we are looking for a  PLC Programmer  to join a  leading international company in the main sectors in which it operates , mainly in the  development of machinery for large automated production lines  for the  aeronautical sector  (among others),  based in Badalona.

Your  mission  will include  program definition, documentation, creation, and implementation support.

What will your main functions be?

  • Defining  PLC programs and HMI screens .  Logical structuring, defining function blocks, creating the safety block.
  • Definition of software architecture  (network topologies, communications between different devices, etc.).
  • Creation of the programming and sequence grafcet.
  • Simulation of  PLC program and HMI screens.
  • Generation of documentation for the client  during the project development phase.
  • Attendance at project meetings with clients.
  • Commissioning and validation testing  with the client at the client’s own or company facilities.

For this, what will you need?

  • More than  3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Technical requirements:
  • Experience in PLC programming   (TIA Portal) in  automated machinery  /  production lines .
  • Experience in  configuring variable frequency drives.
  • Knowledge of safety systems in industrial automation environments.
  • Intermediate – high English.
  • Availability to travel  internationally between 30% – 40% of the time.
