.Net Developer with Azure Cloud experience – Product Data Solutions

The team is responsible for delivering a series of enterprise-level APIs to support our operations, sales, and production systems.

Join a Friendly Collaborative IT Department

Our solutions support our Global Marketing organisation and Operations with essential product data, and we need your help to transform new business requirements with a solid and dedicated team consisting of 7 people and 1 manager. Here, you will daily be working with other developers and architects.

We have flexible working conditions and an informal and engaging work atmosphere. You will have some highly professional and credible colleagues, for whom knowledge sharing comes naturally. You will especially be working closely with our solution architect also located at our Demant Head Quarter in Smørum and our application supporter in Poland. Naturally, you will also be working with important stakeholders in Marketing and our different Business units.

Integration components & Enterprise API´s

You will be working across several products and your daily tasks will include:

• Develop and maintain Enterprise APIs built and owned by our team
• Develop and maintain integration components between cloud and on-prem systems
• Estimate and maintain User Stories assigned to you on our Kanban board
• Do code reviews from fellow developers
• Having fun being a part of our great team

You will be working in a close collaboration with the solution architect where you together will discuss and “shape” input for the future roadmap tasks.

Below, you find the technology stack you can expect to work with:

• .NET 6 (primary)
• Visual Studio 2022 and VS Code
• Azure Cloud platform
• Docker containers, docker swarm and (potentially) Kubernetes
• Majority of tools from the Azure DevOps portal, including Git, Boards, Artifacts, Release pipelines …

Since we are a global company 10-12 days of travelling per year can be expected.

Your Backpack

In order to be successful in the role, we envision that you have a technical background, such as an IT or Engineering degree with some years of professional experience from having worked in the field of digital solutions. It is an advantage if you have experience with product data systems, but not a requirement.

You are a person with a positive attitude who are able to drive a loosely formulated user story to a well-defined technical task.

We expect you to have a good technical foundation in software development, especially with .NET platform.

The solutions we deliver are critical parts of our production and sales chain, therefor it is absolutely required that you are keen on delivering a well-tested and properly structured code.

It would be great if you understand and exercise some form of a layered architecture (separation of concerns). We ourselves use Onion Architecture, but any other similar form will also be acceptable.

Finally, we hope you have experience with the following:

• Azure DevOps and agile software development methods
• YAML deployment pipelines
• ARM and bicep templates
• Docker

Furthermore, you have good communications skills and can understand and communicate complex technical details in an easy-to-understand manner. Finally, you are known as someone who creates progress in solutions.
