The SERVICE TEAM COORDINATOR will lead, in Spain, a multidisciplinary technical team from EXOTEC By DEXTER in several of the sites where we have implemented SKYPOD solutions.

He will report directly to the Director of Service and will perform, among others, the following functions:

In collaboration with the Construction Supervisor during the installation of the project:

  • Collaborate with assigned implementation engineers to ensure proper compliance with technical requirements and the solution’s operationalization in terms of Service.
  • Monitor and manage the receipt of spare parts for the implemented solution.

As the Service Team Coordinator, once the installation is complete:

  • Supervise and coordinate the team of mechatronics technicians who provide support at several of the integrated facilities in Spain.
  • Monitor compliance with EHS standards, regulations, laws, quality, and guidelines.
  • Ensure that safe work practices are applied at all times in each facility.
  • Ensure the implementation of technical support and corrective and preventive maintenance at production facilities, aligned with our customers’ requirements.
  • Manage incidents in collaboration with the maintenance team, the monitoring center located in France, and the client.
  • Ensure compliance with defined guidelines, processes, and procedures for all defined and planned service operations.
  • Monitor compliance with cleaning standards in all areas of operation.
  • Prepare and maintain the work schedule to ensure compliance with services.
  • Supervise and ensure the correct generation of tickets in the CMMS as well as the closing of work orders.
  • Ensure diligent communication with the monitoring center, located in France, and the team of service technicians assigned to customers.
  • Propose improvements in service operations in terms of quality and costs.
  • In coordination with the Service Director, plan and coordinate additional service support at facilities.
  • Ensure adequate levels of supplies (spare parts, tools, office supplies, and personal protective equipment).
  • Interpret engineering drawings in relation to the layout, location, and operation of the system(s).
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with the training plan defined for the development of technical service personnel.
  • Achieve the defined KPIs and objectives in terms of customer satisfaction.
  • Implement process improvements to ensure continuous improvement of maintenance performance as per the contract.

Required Education and Experience :

  • Diploma in automation engineering or similar, preferably with professional training in mechanics, electricity, mechatronics, or robotic systems.
  • Minimum 3 years of technical experience in a similar position. Experience in installation, maintenance, and assembly in the field of intralogistics automation for warehouses and logistics centers, robotics, or similar will be a plus.
  • Work experience with mechanical, electrical and control systems (PLC, PC).
  • Knowledge of assembly and maintenance of metal structures, electrical wiring and electronic components.
  • Valid driver’s license.
