Job Description

From Business Intelligence to Cloud Data Platforms. For our dynamic, diverse and ambitious team, we are looking for an enterprising and driven Senior Data Engineer with good knowledge of Business Intelligence and extensive experience with one or more Cloud Data solutions, such as Azure or AWS. You get energy from solving complex data issues. You know the tools, the stores and the best practices of ‘your’ platform and you can really help your customers and your colleagues further. As an RBI player you focus on technique and at the same time you are a strong sparring partner.

All our customers are in the process of migrating their existing environment to the Cloud. That is challenging and they can use expertise and experience for that. Yours! For an average duration of 6-12 months you will be seconded to the nicest customers in the Netherlands.

This is what you will do:

Developing future-proof data solutions for the customer;
Unlocking, transforming and integrating data structures so that others can make effective use of them;
Advising users and stakeholders on the design and setting up of Cloud Data Platforms in the Microsoft Azure or AWS environment;
Transform outdated BI systems into an innovative Cloud Data Platform together with your Scrum/DevOps team;
Maintaining and supporting the existing data environment, setting up new environments;
Coaching and guiding less experienced colleagues and teammates within RBI and at clients as a specialist, lead engineer or team lead;
And above all, working with beautiful innovative technologies at great customers!
We work in the Telecom, Pension, Semi-government and Banking domains, among others. You come into contact with different environments and corporate cultures. Thanks to the varied assignments, the work remains fun, challenging and you gain a lot of experience in a short time!

REQUIREMENTS
Your profile

At least a completed HBO study;

Good command of the Dutch language;

At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the data field;

At least 5 years of knowledge of and experience with SQL, ETL, DWH and/or Python;

Extensive experience with one or more Cloud solutions (Microsoft Azure or AWS);

Knowledge and experience with agile working and (possibly) DevOps;

Broad growth ambitions;

Strong analytical skills;

Strong communication skills;

Available for at least 36 hours;

And sense of humour!
