We are currently seeking a motivated Junior Frontend Developer to join our growing team in Chiasso, Switzerland.

Role Overview

As a Junior Frontend Developer, you will assist in developing our web applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and a seamless user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, learn from senior developers, and contribute to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and implementation of web applications, maintaining high-quality and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Work closely with senior developers, contributing to a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in frontend development.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Collaborate with backend developers and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.

Skills & Experience

  • Education: BSc, MSc, or comparable on-the-job training in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Experience: Some field experience in a similar role is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks (preferably Vue.js).
    • Basic understanding of build tools such as Webpack or Vite and styling libraries like Tailwind CSS or SCSS.
    • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend service integration.
    • Some experience with Git and package managers.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong willingness to learn and quickly adapt to new technologies.
    • Problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in English (required).
