About the Opportunity:
As a data architect specializing in GCP, you will be responsible for evaluating, designing and optimizing data architectures that respond to business needs, ensuring best practices in data modeling, governance and security.
Responsibilities:
- Assess existing data environments and develop comprehensive architecture recommendations based on GCP;
- Create strategic roadmaps for data architecture transformation;
- Advise on data modeling methodologies, schema design and good metadata management practices;
- Lead architecture review sessions and knowledge transfer sessions;
- Provide guidance on BigQuery optimization, cost management, and efficient resource utilization;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into architectural blueprints;
- Develop governance frameworks and recommendations for data quality, security and compliance.
What We Are Looking For:
- Degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or similar;
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, with proven experience in GCP;
- In-depth knowledge of BigQuery and associated best practices;
- Experience in designing data warehouses and data lakes;
- Solid knowledge of data modeling and associated methodologies;
- Experience in data governance and good data security practices;
- Mastery of GCP data services such as Dataflow, Dataform, Data Fusion, among others;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
We value:
- Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer Certification;
- Previous experience in consulting or advising on enterprise data architecture;
- Ability to conduct technical workshops and architectural assessments;
- Knowledge of industry standards, applicable legal and regulatory requirements;
- Familiarity with modern paradigms such as data mesh.
