⭐️ About the role

We are looking for a talented Data Scientist to join the Data Department. As the first Data Scientist in the team, you will play a vital role in harnessing data-driven insights to propel business growth, elevate operational efficiency, and deliver first-class customer experiences.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will have the opportunity to uncover opportunities, design innovative experiments, build predictive models, and develop data-driven solutions to assist Businesses and Product managers that will empower our organization to maintain its position as a leader in the vacation rental industry.

🎯 Your main responsibilities will be:

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define and prioritize data-driven projects, gaining an in-depth understanding of business goals and challenges
• Construct predictive models and algorithms that support Business and Product teams
• Collaborate with our Data Engineer and DevOps team to Build robust ML pipelines leveraging the modern data stack.
• Stay at the forefront of the latest advancements in data science seizing opportunities to apply them within our ambitious data-driven initiatives.

⭐ Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
• At least 4 years of practical relevant experience in a similar position
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL, enabling proficient data analysis and manipulation
• Solid experience using ML libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Pytorch)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analyze complex datasets to unearth valuable insights
• Experience deploying ML pipeline in a cloud environment (GCP)
• Business Acumen

Nice to have:

• Experience within the travel, hospitality, or vacation rental industry, providing valuable context to your data-driven endeavors
• Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) frameworks such as spaCy, NLTK, or Hugging Face Transformers
• Experience using data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker and PowerBI.
