The main responsibility of the System Administrator/Internal Systems Engineer will be administering our internal IT systems, making sure that everything keeps running smoothly, and that the systems scale with the company. Depending on the candidate, additional responsibilities can include tasks such as maintaining and optimizing our DevOps systems for building and testing of our software, or designing and implementing internal IT systems for production and test, or for handling telemetry and log data from customers. The successful candidate will thus be vital in shaping, maintaining and building up a robust set of internal systems, to best support the growing team.

  • Do day-to-day administration of core internal systems
  • Take the lead on maintaining and expanding our network and server infrastructure
  • Be proactive about IT security to help keep both server and client systems safe
  • Depending on profile, work with developers and production team to design and implement new internal systems
  • Provide IT support for the team


  • Experience with Linux and Windows servers
  • Experience with virtualized server environments
  • Good understanding of networks, network hardware and network security
  • Experience with Active Directory / LDAP
  • Experience planning and maintaining backups
  • Good Windows and Linux client knowledge (Mac client knowledge a plus
  • Scripting experience (bash / batch / etc.)
  • Professional experience in a similar position
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive work style
  • Service-minded with excellent team and communication skills (English)
  • Experience with Office 365 and Azure Cloud a plus
  • Experience with code review / CI systems a plus
  • Experience with Python / Django / similar a plus
  • Experience with databases a plus
