What are you going to do?

As our new Support Engineer, you will be solving incoming questions and problems about Login VSI products in combination with SBC / VDI infrastructures. You mainly will have contact with IT specialists who are working on an implementation or use Login VSI products in their production environment. In this position you’re going to be a performance expert in the field of SBC / VDI infrastructures and the first point of contact for our customers. In addition, you ensure that the documentation we provide to our customers is easy to understand and read by them. Think of user manuals, release notes, product user interfaces and product marketing literature.

You will be part of a small and young international team. The activities consist of:

  • By telephone, e-mail or remote desktop support to national and international customers who ask for support about products regarding the product portfolio of Login VSI;
  • Register, classify and maintain new and ongoing support questions in ZenDesk;
  • Solve the reported problems directly within the predetermined SLAs in accordance with the Login VSI Support policy;
  • Develop application workloads for Login VSI products;
  • Assisting the service organization with regard to new potential customers (POCs / trails);
  • Keep up to date the technical documentation;
  • Various activities for the internal ICT such as maintenance and projects.

Requirements

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who have recently graduated and who want to make a first or second step in their career. As a Support Engineer you have the following competences:

  • MBO work and thinking level and / or a relevant preparatory course at minimum MBO level or has a less relevant higher vocational education supplemented with relevant technical programs;
  • Knowledge of ICT Infrastructures and general knowledge of SBC and VDI;
  • Knowledge of and experience with scripting in Powershell is a big advantage;
  • Familiarity with the ITIL basic principles;
  • Excellent command of the English language in word and writing;
  • The employee has a high analytical and problem-solving capacity.
