These tasks await you:

Analyze complex data sets and apply statistical methods to identify relevant risks, to correctly evaluate potential payment defaults and to derive specific recommendations for action
Design Analytics solutions for a variety of different questions
Identify optimization potentials and process improvements in the risk management environment
Explore large data sets in order to identify underlying patterns, trends, and key risk drivers
Identify, implement and maintain key risk requirements throughout the organization
Validate and oversee policies, procedures and areas of potential concern
Oversee compliance, operations, vendor management and other areas, as needed
Ensure risk related projects are thoroughly executed and maintained

What we expect from you:

You have successfully completed a degree in a numerate subject such as Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or similar
You have around 3 – 6 years experience in Analytics (ideally E-Commerce/Fraud), preferably within Financial Services
You are experienced with analytics tools like SQL, R, SAS, Python (and ideally also data visualization tools like Tableau and/or Qliksense)
Ideally you have first experience of leading a small team and the ability to motivate others
You have an understanding of P&L (e.g. how provisions and revenue are accrued/recognized)
You have portfolio management experience (e.g. how to deliver a desired loss level, how to balance risk and revenue etc.)
You are familiar with operating within a regulated and controlled environment and are familiar with German financial service regulations
You have excellent communication skills, an analytical mindset and are ready for fast growth
You are fluent in English and German
