The company employs professionals of 25 different nationalities in 17 offices, namely San Francisco, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Amsterdam, Berlin, Kiev, Lisbon, Moscow, Sofia, Poznań, London, Istanbul, Novosibirsk, Seoul, Manila, Beijing and Hanoi.

We are hiring an Office Manager to help us with our amazing Berlin office. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with different teams such as Events and Marketing, Accounting, and Recruitment to fuel our global growth.

You’ll be responsible for day-to-day office operations, support Paymentwall’s team members, and create office policies.

What you’ll do:
Coordinate meetings, arrange agendas and manage projects;
Work with the Accounting Team to manage office budget by tracking expenses, payables and identifying recurring costs needed for operations;
Maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment and make sure that these are kept properly and securely:
Leveraging suppliers to build capabilities for sustainable, scalable operations;
Research and track schedule for permits, renewals, and other compliance requirements for the business;
Support and assist for all local events, including logistics, working closely across departments;
Help with recruitment when needed: source, screen, coordinate interviews, prepare job offers, hire/dismiss and sign on the new team members;

What you’ll need to be:
Proficient in German and English.
Efficient: Able to achieve goals and expected results with minimum wasted effort and resources.
Honest and upfront in all dealings. Not making any business-related decisions or recommendations influenced by undue personal interests.
Problem-solver: thinking out of the box to solve operational issues in a timely manner.
Responsible and organized: Able to handle priorities within project timeline.
Available and responsive with a sense of urgency and accountability even beyond office hours.

What you’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
3+ years of experience in dealing with German suppliers is preferable.
Knowledge of German labour and employment law.
