As an IT Support Officer at BBOXX you will be based in our London office, where you will work alongside a growing team of Software Developers and internal users to support a wide range of software tools used by teams from BBOXX and third party users around the world. Your role will be to be the customer-facing member of the team that helps support customers and users around the world. The customers you will be interacting with include internal BBOXX staff and an increasing number of distributors based around the world who have a varying number of our Solar Home Systems and need help resolving a problem with their systems.
Dealing with a range of customers around the world to help them resolve IT related issues.
Developing processes, tools and documentation to improve the customer experience.
Troubleshooting issues and working with the development team in London to resolve these.
Identifying emerging trends of technical issues and managing the mitigation of these.
Understanding of software systems including Microsoft and Active Directory
Technical communication skills
Basic software development skills for automating common support requests or processes

[Bonus] Experience working in hardware and networking support
Sand-BBOXX day’s – Once a fortnight day to work on a self-driven project that you believe could have a benefit to your work or BBOXX generally.
Regular socials – BBOXX organises once monthly social events which can be proposed by anyone on the team. This could be anything for a picnic and rounders in the park to pottery painting or the regular pub quiz.
