Job position Mission
Define and implement the most suitable industrial IT architecture for every one of company’s products, projects and services, ensuring the reliability, scalability and cost effectiveness of each solution. Create, maintain and improve software standards for IT systems combining, PLCs, SCADAS, cloud solutions, MES, ERP, etc.
He/her will have a corporate role and will manage a department of 3 people with extensive industry experience reporting to the Technology Director.

Functions and Responsibilities
 Train, coach, and supervise staff
 Analyze cost and performance of all solutions and evaluate tradeoffs
 Establish non-functional requirements (security, reliability, scalability, maintainability,
usability, etc.) at the solution level
 Analyze system-level failure modes and effects (FMEA), and system-level hazards; assess technical risks and define mitigations
 Foster and promote Quality processes throughout all stages of system development.
 Define software development and testing procedures
 Define IT architectural standards for each product and service, ensuring that system analysis designs and process maps are documented and communicated. Develop coding logic flowcharts and diagrams
 Participate in the planning, definition, and high-level design of a custom project and explore solution alternatives.
 Collaborate with internal and external teams that identify key suppliers, strategic alliances, and process improvements
 Help with production support, including system configuration, system monitoring, and
updating interfaces
 Analyze business and systems needs in terms of functional and technical requirements for new platforms implementation as based IoT
 Participate in collaborative discussions with customers and other business stakeholders as the subject matter expert on company’s capabilities in industrial IT platforms

Main job Objectives
 Define IT architectural standards for each product and service
 Ensure the security, reliability, scalability, maintainability and usability of the software and IT systems implemented in all products and services in the most cost-effective way
 Define and implement new systems to promote new businesses based on IoT platforms

Job position Requirements
Educational background
 Degree in Computer Science Engineering (or equivalent) is required, with working knowledge of industrial information systems
 Demonstrating proven knowledge with software development best practices and methods

Knowledge and Skills
 Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, negotiation)
 Creating scalable and efficient process automation workflows that identify & create reusable automation components
 Adhering to framework for automation projects to establish manageability and maintainability of automation operations
 Identifying and addressing client/business needs: actively participating in client/business discussions and meetings
 Communicating a broad range of Firm services; and, managing engagements, including
preparing concise, accurate documents and maintaining project economics while maintaining flexibility for unanticipated issues
 Demonstrating proven thorough abilities and success as a team leader: creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations, providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner, keeping leadership informed of progress and issues, and answering questions and providing direction to less-experienced staff
 Fluent in English is a must. Other languages would be appreciated

Experience
 At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar position
 Demonstrating experience thorough abilities and success as a team leader: creating a
positive environment
