As an E-Commerce Product Owner in Munich, Germany you can help make possibilities happen.

As a product owner for ACI UP eCommerce solution, you will be key to translate between the customer facing teams, market needs and the engineering organization. You need to have an outstanding agile mindset; love challenges and you have to be able to think single customer request into solution.
In the position, you need to clearly communicate and drive the product with your engineering team and other departments inside the company. You shape the vision and direction of the product. You support the roadmap definition with market facing teams according to the overall ACI strategy.
As the product champion, you continually drive product adoption among the customer base and target market.
You will work closely with the engineering teams and solution teams in an agile environment. As part of an international team of product owners, you will prioritize customer requests, scope requests in cooperation with the customer facing teams, as well as the customer. You will be responsible for the agile product delivery based on the customer experience. You are the “go to” person for the development organization and solution teams.
A technical background is preferred as well as knowledge in the payment industry.

It’s important to maintain an intimate understanding of the payments industry and the competition to quickly identify opportunities and threats, leverage our strengths and overcome our weaknesses, while influencing the overall ACI product strategy.

Standard work environment. Munich office.
Limited travel required.
Majority of time spent on PC (Phys. Req.)

Job Accountabilities:
• Be able to fail, be able to learn and to be able to make every project a great success.
• Elicits, understand and challenge stakeholder requirements and priority.
• Transfer identified requirements from single customers to fit the product on a global scale and determine appropriate solutions.
• Manage the entire development cycle from refining requirements, scoping with engineering teams and supporting the developers with all questions during the implementation process.
• Contribute to the product roadmap covering all customer requirements as well as internal requests.
• Clearly communicate product updates to customers and customer facing teams.
• Ensure all features are well documented an delivered according to our “definition of done”.
• Monitors launch effectiveness.
• Monitors key performance indicators of the operations to design, deliver, implement and support the product. Implements corrective action where applicable.
• Actively manage the product across the entire lifecycle.
• Deep and broad understanding and experience in all aspects of product management.
• Understand and Adhere to all Corporate Policies to include but not limited to ACI Code of Ethics and Global Information Security.

Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
2-5 years related experience in an industry related role such as technical support, product management or product development type roles.
Payments industry experience preferred.
