As a DevOps Engineer, your role is to improve seamless collaboration within PriceHubble, from planning through product, by supporting continuous workflow, improving deployment frequency, achieving faster time to market and shortening lead time between fixes.
Enable, maintain and improve continuous deployment and continuous integration
Support work of development and analytical teams with cloud-hosted (kubernetes) infrastructure
Perform system administration tasks on the live SaaS
Assess security risks and take measures to prevent them
Interact with customer support to help with providing reliable live service including user management and troubleshooting of potential errors
MSc in Computer Science or equivalent;
Working experience with:
Operating and administering of large-scale SaaS on cloud providers as Google cloud
CD/CI using Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration
Git version control
Designing, implementing and testing data ingestion, storage and processing infrastructures
Database administration (Postgres and/or SQL)
Confident programming skills in Python and bash scripting (including command line tools like find, grep, awk, etc.)
Good understanding in networking and Internet technologies;
Good understanding of security fundamentals (both on network and OS levels) including ability to exploit vulnerabilities and perform intrusion detection checks;
Fair understanding of data structures and algorithms;
Understanding of system internals of Linux OS incl. performance monitoring and analyses;
worked previously in ‘agile’ team(s) and are looking forward to doing it again,
are comfortable working in English; you have a great read, good spoken command of it.
