We are looking for several Citrix Engineers that bring to the table a high level of technical skills and problem solving skills with Citrix XenApp and Windows 2008. You must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen and credit check. These roles will be salaried consultants and include excellent benefits. You must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder, no 1099 or Corp-to-Corp at this time.
Day to day Citrix end user support and administration of Citrix Xen Application Server environments including versions 4.0, 4,5, 5.0, and 6.5.
Intermediate knowledge of Citrix Presentation Server Technologies Secure Gateway, Web Interface, Citrix Licensing, ICA Client, Printing
Intermediate Citrix support experience with large-scale deployments (1000+ subscribers).
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Terminal Server Technologies, Windows Terminal Services 2003 or greater, Windows Terminal Server Licensing, Windows Terminal Server-specific Active Directory Group Policy Objects, Windows Profiles (Local, Roaming, Mandatory, Hybrid/Flex),Windows Logon Scripts, Windows Registry, Windows ,NTFS file system, Windows Printing, Windows Security
Intermediate knowledge of troubleshooting techniques, Use of Windows Performance Monitor and Event Log to detect application and infrastructure issues.
Citrix XenApp 4.5 for Windows Server 2003 Citrix XenApp 5 for Windows Server 2008 Remote Desktop Connection.
Day to day Citrix end user support and Administration of Xen Desktop environment.
Troubleshooting connectivity, profile, and basic XP desktop issues.
Provisioning Services 5.1 – 6.0
Knowledge of standards in IT infrastructure
Ability to interpret new directions in technology in a way that creates greater clarity for team members
Understanding of enterprise platforms and operating systems
Server and application monitoring
Strong ability to work with 3rd party software vendors and service providers
Understanding of a multi tier infrastructure design
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems effectively as well as provide solutions
Ability to respond to 24×7 for production support needs when required
Experience with Change Management, Incident Management and audit compliance for SOX applications
Experience supporting Disaster Recovery
Experience in large Datacenter support model
Certifications in the following areas are desired:
Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator (CCAA)
Presentation Server 4.x / XenApp 5 / XenApp 6
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Windows 2003/2008
5 Years IT experience, 2 Years Citrix experience
