To complement a new software development team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated

C++ Software Engineer for Terrestrial Laser Scanners (f/m)
HEERBRUGG (Switzerland)

YOUR MAIN TASKS WILL INCLUDE:
•Development of robust and efficient cross-platform applications using latest C++ standards and Qt libraries
•Participate in all the stages of the development process, including research, design, implementation, integration, testing and deployment
•High performance and realtime realizations of terrestrial laser scanning workflows with focus on various embedded hardware platforms
•Design and implementation of software components and algorithms in the area of 3D reconstruction based on laser scanning and imaging data
•Ensuring the product quality by writing software on high standards based on clean code principles and using automated tests
•Potential to act as main interface between external software development centre within Europe and world wide partners

YOUR PROFILE:
•A relevant university qualification (Bachelor / Master) in computer science, mathematics or engineering
•Proficiency in software development using languages such as modern C++ and Python
•Strong software engineering background (design patterns, clean code and TDD)
•Ability and willingness to contribute to the architecture and design of the software components
•Knowledge in the area of GPU's and parallel image processing algorithms is advantageous (OpenCL, OpenCV, CUDA)
•Knowledge of Qt/QML, Boost and CMake is also considered an asset
•Strong communication skills in English, ability to work in an intercultural and distributed located agile environment
