At Oxygent Technologies, we are recruiting a QA Engineer  to participate in a large-scale EPC/EPCM project in the industrial sector, with high quality standards and regulatory compliance, located in the Basque Country, Madrid, or Barcelona.

If you are the selected person, your mission will be to guarantee the quality of the projects , supervising processes, documentation and audits, and ensuring regulatory and industrial compliance .

What will your main functions be?

  • Review and improve specifications, plans and quality documentation , ensuring compliance with standards and requirements .
  • Verify contractor documentation , including ITPs, procedures, quality reports, and Manufacturing Record Books .
  • Participate in audits under the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard .
  • Update the project QMS with detected nonconformities and improvements .
  • Collect and analyze quality metrics , proposing corrective solutions to technical incidents.
  • Collaborate in the awarding of contracts with suppliers and contractors, ensuring regulatory compliance .
  • Coordinate specific inspections and audits , both internal and external, including Notified Bodies .
  • Prepare bug reports and corrective actions and actively participate in project meetings .

For this, what will you need?

  • Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or similar Engineering , and certification in Quality Assurance is valued .
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role, ideally in EPC/EPCM projects and with contractors in civil engineering, steel structures, pipe assembly, and/or electrical and mechanical work.
  • Fluent English (high B2 – C1) is essential for documentation and client communication; Spanish is a plus for coordinating with teams and suppliers.
  • Working knowledge of QMS , test methods, technical documentation review and inspection plans.
  • Familiarity with international quality and compliance regulations and experience in ISO 9001:2015 audits .
  • Experience in industrial or energy environments and teamwork, communication and adaptability skills .
  • Proactivity, attention to detail and analytical skills , aimed at solving problems and providing continuous improvements.
