Randstad Digital is recruiting an IT Project Coordinator – Africa Subsidiaries to join a benchmark client in the industrial sector in the Lisbon area.

Skilled and proactive IT professional to join their Corporate IT team on a contract basis, with a dedicated focus on overseeing and supporting IT initiatives across their African subsidiaries. This role will serve as a key liaison between local teams and corporate IT, ensuring alignment, consistency, and successful execution of strategic technology projects.

  • Project Oversight & Coordination – Monitor, track, and report on the progress of IT projects within African subsidiaries, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate closely with local teams, business units, and external vendors to ensure effective communication and alignment with corporate standards.
  • Governance & Compliance – Ensure that all regional IT activities comply with corporate policies, cybersecurity protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management – Identify potential risks or bottlenecks in project execution and propose mitigation strategies in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Reporting & Documentation – Maintain comprehensive documentation of project status, decisions, and outcomes. Provide regular updates to Corporate IT leadership.
  • Support & Advisory – Act as a point of contact for technical guidance and support for local teams, facilitating knowledge transfer and best practices.

  • Strong understanding of infrastructure, systems integration, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across different time zones and cultures.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to African subsidiaries if required.
