A vacancy for Protocol & Events has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in San Pablo (Sevilla).
The mission is to manage and coordinate visits on Airbus facilities in Spain, mainly in the Centre sites (Getafe, Illescas, Albacete), and be project leader for internal and external events, whilst preparing the future and continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation in the function:
- You are in charge for ensuring the effectiveness of communication, decision implementation and the company’s standard on Protocol and Events issues
- You also manage Customers and VIP visits within Airbus and off site facilities
- You are responsible to lead and ensure qualified and coherent internal and external events
- You have responsibilities in an extensive scope of transversal projects/assignments within the Protocol and Events function.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Organize internal and external events, assuring a good image of Airbus and the fulfilment of the company’s standard. Develop the events strategy, creatively and efficiently, coordinating the logistics and leading the project with all the teams involved.
- Manage VIP visits, coordinating the strategy of each customer or institution with the Managers and the internal requesters (Commercial, Programme, Public Affairs…), and assuring the culture, background and special features of each delegation are taken into consideration.
- Coordinate Customers attentions guaranteeing the company’s standard and Ethics and Compliance policy, as well as the clients’ idiosyncrasies.
- Manage relations with local authorities in tight relation with Public Affairs
- Harmonize the image of Airbus as an integrated company
- Participate on international and transversal working groups to improve the function, innovating and integrating.
- Coordinate in a continuous way with the suppliers, setting the standards and ways of working.
SKILLS
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- You have proven experience in public relations, events organization and external stakeholder management.
- You have more than 5 years of experience on Airbus visits management and coordination
- You have a high level of integrity and discretion and are used to work in confidential environments
- You are aware of the company’s Ethics and Compliance policy and events’ and visits’ standards
- You know how to deal with tight schedules and are flexible to manage time-critical tasks
- You already gained experience in managing, coordinating and consolidating projects.
- You have a proactive and strategic mind-set and are focused on qualitative delivery
- You have excellent communication and organization skills, you are creative and innovative and you are a team player
- You have a flexible nature and a high level of social skills
- You are a conciliatory person, and you do not paralyze with unforeseen scenarios or surprises.
- You have deep knowledge of Airbus Products and Strategy
- You are familiarized with military aircraft Customers, National Air Forces, Armies, Ministries of Defence, etc.
- You have a sound understanding of the institutional stakeholders of Airbus in general and Airbus in Andalusia in particular.
- You have thorough knowledge of Airbus internal procedures.
- You have broad experience in dealing with all levels of management
- You are fluent in Spanish and English.
