As a Drone Technician (f/m/d), you will ensure our products are built and scaled to deliver industry-leading safety, reliability, and performance.
Your roadmap to make an impact
- Oversee and execute the hands-on manufacturing, assembly, and testing of UAVs and their subsystems
- Plan and coordinate production activities to meet project deadlines and technical requirements
- Support flight testing to validate performance, reliability, and system integration
- Develop and implement methods to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and traceability
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate designs into functional prototypes and production-ready/test-ready UAVs
- Define and enhance the R&D lab setup to ensure a safe, efficient, and highly flexible environment for UAV development
- Maintain lab organization, equipment readiness, and adherence to safety standards
Job requirements
- Completed apprenticeship or craftsman training in a relevant field with 1+ years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in additive manufacturing, laser cutting, CNC machining, sheet metal work, soldering, and spot welding
- Working knowledge of UAV-specific electronics, avionics, and related components
- Skilled at sourcing, negotiating, and coordinating material procurement
- Balances creative, out-of-the-box thinking with practical, long-term solutions to address both immediate and future needs
- Highly self-organized, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on mentality with solid multitasking and self-organization abilities
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Fluent in German or English
